The Training Tab has been completely revamped in what I believe is the BEST UPDATE to R18LabQMS to date. Here is a summary of what has changed:

1. The new version offers huge efficiency gains by allowing you to input training and evaluation records for multiple tests and multiple users at the same time.
2. An enhanced, user-specific, color-indication system tracks progress for each individual requiring training, evaluation, or certification.
3. The dashboard Training widget populates with method-specific notifications for trainings/evaluations/certifications that require attention. There is no longer a single interval governing the training notifications based on a completed report date. Instead, intervals are now established based on the completed record date. This is an important distinction and allows for more accurate notifications of events requiring action.
4. All RECORDS (trainings, evaluations, certifications, general notes) are now stored for each individual in a single REPORT. A 'Record' now refers to a specific event (i.e. an evaluation for T301). A 'Report' now refers to the collective summary containing all the records for an individual over a specified time period.
5. 'Assign Test Methods' now accomplishes more than generating a list in the QM. It also pre-generates a unique Training Report structure for each individual, based on the selections. This 'skeletal' report structure can then be fleshed out with records in an efficient manner.
6. Generating training reports via the old version is no longer an option. The reports are still available in an Archived folder, but new reports must be created using the new version.
7. IMPORTANT: THE DASHBOARD TRAINING WIDGET NO LONGER PROVIDES NOTIFICATIONS FOR ARCHIVED REPORTS (CREATED UNDER THE OLD VERSION). This is an unavoidable consequence of the software update.
