Lab equipment can now be easily transferred from one lab to another within the same family network. This feature is available to PLM users in labs that have at least one active sibling lab.

• Streamlined Transfer Process: A new Transfer To Another Lab option is available in the equipment record's action menu. Selecting it will prompt the PLM to choose an eligible destination lab from a dropdown menu.
• Automatic Status Updates: Upon confirmation, the system automatically moves the source equipment record to "Out of Service" with a new "Transferred" condition and logs today's date.
• Comprehensive Data Migration: A new record is automatically created at the destination lab. This new record seamlessly carries over all serial numbers, procedure links, and the equipment photo from the original lab. Additionally, all attached procedure records will follow the transferred equipment to its new location.
• Smart Reactivation: If you transfer a piece of equipment back to a lab it previously belonged to, the system will smartly reactivate the original, previously transferred record rather than creating a duplicate.
• New "Transferred" Condition* A "Transferred" condition has been added to the system. This condition will only appear in the condition dropdown if the record currently carries it; if you change the condition to something else, "Transferred" will be removed from the available options.
